Mike’s DAZ3D First Impressions for April 18, 2021

A Collection of Opinions and Observations from the DAZ 3D Marketplace

Today’s Promo: “Just Want To Rock And Roll All Night”

Today’s Releases: Dance poses, a flower-child outfit, a nyef, flapper hair, a living room, Italian courtyard, That 70s Dress, and a leather bodice.

Set of 20 Boogie-Fever dance moves for your G8 ladies probably won’t impress, but they will flex those bones in some crazy ways.

This flower-child outfit can be styled into four-separate styles and supports dforce. It’s rare I have nothing to critique an outfit on, but here we are. Go buy a lottery ticket!

Eliza is a pretty character, but she’s boring as fuck and we do not need any more female characters!

This is a very useful script to instance a row of hedges or any other object throughout your scene along your defined path.

These additional (5) materials for the flower-child outfit aren’t doing it for me.

This flapper bob hair might be 100 years old but it looks like it could be walking down the runway today at New York Fashion Week.

If all you need is a living-room then this “Apartment” might be just what you need. If not, well…….

This Italian courtyard is large enough to accommodate several vehicles and figures and provides lots of nooks and crannies for your scenes and figures.

This 70s dress is cute, but really needs a skirt length/ hemline adjustment morph.

This leather bodice has nice straps and comes in several different colors.

Sorry for the delay. We have company staying with us and I’ve been a bit pre-occupied dealing with the drama and IRL stuff this morning!

I hope you found this useful.

I like the Boston apartment. I do agree with your earlier commentary that they need to include the cityscape backdrop if the apartment has tons of windows. The backdrop adds so much to the look and feel of the room and it can be tough to come up with something that works if say the windows are on two sides.

Overall, I am not biting today, but that’s not too much of a surprise I should think.

Thanks for taking the time, to do the review again for us.

What’s funnier (or not, actually) is that backdrop isn’t Boston. Boston doesn’t have a Hotel 71, but Chicago does.
